My weekly reading from Edwina Gately's
Mystical Heart
included this lovely poem:
I had a dream
which someone stole
and trampled all upon,
ripping my lovely rainbow
and scattering
its brilliant colors
upon the muddied floor.
Then moving within
my deep despair
God gently whispered low:
See these tiny pieces
scattered wide upon the floor?
I will rebuild them
bit by bit
to rise before your eyes
a kaleidoscope of beauty--
brilliant as sunrise.
Well, the tiny pieces continue
to rise and be blessed.
Thank you, God!
