Forest Oaks Boulevard
Here is Chaplain Mulkey with his dog, Shag,
relaxing in the media room.
Our first selfie...we were so proud of that wallpaper!
(Mother and Daddy helped us install it.)
I believe this photo was taken prior to Rob noticing the
scratch marks on the toilet seat, purchasing a brand new shiny one,
and in mid-installation cracking the commode down the middle.
WHOOOOOSH!
(Lesson: If the bolt is rusty, don't force it!)
"And this is Mr. Hoo, one of my favorite owls
from my Owl Period."
Sarah waits patiently in the
corner of the master bedroom for her turn.
(Note gold swag lamp with matching harvest gold shag carpet.)
The Den:
Here Sarah sits on the harvest gold floral sofa-bed
admiring the harvest gold tweed recliner,
sitting atop the avocado green shag carpet.
(We were serious about our color coordination back then!)

Sarah is almost giddy over those prissy white tie-backs.
She and Rob "antiqued" the headboard, and
she actually painted the perfectly placed
pallette-knife paintings.
"Be our guest...be our guest!"
"Be our guest...be our guest!"
The house is back there somewhere.
(We were living on Forest Oaks, for goodness sakes!)
Yet another photo of the master bedroom.
Note the faux table with cloth and
the conveniently-located telephone and travel clock.
(Chaplain Mulkey received many a mid-night call.)
And what would a Mulkey-house be without a piano!
