Day 2 in Ireland

Aaaah! Tuesday morning in Ireland...
And what's this?
Rob in the bathroom with another woman!!
(Oh the pleasures of the rich and famous...)

The delicious Powerscourt breakfast buffet with everything
from granola-yogurt parfait with berries...to Irish porridge
with nuts and cinnamon sugar...to pastries of every kind,
including chocolate croissants...to eggs, bacon, sausages,

black and white pudding, grilled potatoes and onions... and more...
And the beautiful sitting rooms, decorated for the holidays...

Out and about...

 To the village of Enniskerry...

When we went in the Heart and Home, we heard James Taylor
singing on one of our favorite Christmas CD's...which led us to a lovely
visit with Barbara, the shop-owner.
I think she and I would be best friends if I lived in Enniskerry.

Dom, the dashing owner of The Parting Glass wine shop...

Then on to the seaside village of Brae...
 Weary driver...can you tell?

Okay, here's to Day 2 of successful driving on roads that are
(I SWEAR)
only three-feet wide and constantly twisting and turning...
and to road signs with names of towns that never match
the ones on the map, and they all sound like "Diddlydoo"!
Cheers to my NAVIGATOR, who only yelled out five times when I
careened into curbs while hugging the left side of the road.
(Think Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disney World or bumper cars...)
All in all, I did okay and we survived another day of seeing Ireland
up close and personal in our Dooley.
 2 Thumbs Up
 Dom's recommendation...quite yummy!
That and a soak in my Marie Antoinette bathtub,
and I'm ready to go again...
tomorrow!
