I've been following Baron since we moved to Lubbock more than three years ago. At that time he was playing football for the Red Raiders. The next time he caught my attention, he was writing a column for the Lubbock Avalanche Journal. I was totally impressed with his writing skill, but even more so by the incredible sensitivity and maturity that shone through his every word. He now plays pro-football for the Steelers, so I haven't really been following him lately. And then THIS! We'll be at the Art Festival in April, and I look forward to meeting Baron and thanking him for expressing ALL that is within him. Way to go, Baron!
