When I dropped Sawyer off at school today, his teacher, Ms. Tara,
commented to me that occasionally Sawyer will ask,
"I make you so happy, Ms. Tara?"
I nodded and smiled...and thought,
"Well, here we go. So that's where it all starts."
And unlearning that takes the rest of our lives,
if we're lucky!
Oh well...he's still got time.
