No photo evidence for this. But there is a story.
When I got home last night, my legs and backside were aching terribly.
When I got home last night, my legs and backside were aching terribly.
I knew we'd had a busy day, but I couldn't figure out why I was hurting so and
even feared I was coming down with the flu or something.
Then, I remembered.
Like a spry 24 year-old I had jumped on the bicycle at the Science Spectrum
that is used to demonstrate how exerted energy causes a
rubber ball to rise up into a long vertical tube.
The faster you peddle, the higher the ball rises, of course.
Caleb had been so impressed and had cheered me on as I
peddled harder and faster, determined to make that silly ball go up.
And it did...about an inch or so.
And it did...about an inch or so.
I obviously succumbed to peer pressure,
and I'm paying for it today.
Lesson: I am not 24!
(Good news: I don't have the flu.)
