This beautifully colored igloo is a labor of love
This colored igloo is pretty darn great on its own, and the story behind it is even greater. New Zealand's Daniel Gray thought he could relax over the holiday season with girlfriend Kathleen Starrie in her hometown of Edmonton, Canada. This was fine, to a point, but Starrie's mother thought it would also be good if Gray spent some time away from her daughter and did something productive instead. So she did what anyone would do: made him build an igloo. For months Mom collected gallon-sized milk cartons in preparation, freezing colored water in them to create the gorgeous tinted bricks. It took 150 hours to assemble, but it was totally worth it.
