Price of Admission

The speaker at church today talked about

Love as an Active Verb 

and suggested that for each relationship we hold dear,

there is a price of admission...

those features and experiences that do not match up with

THE IDEAL!

And we always get to decide if it's worth that price.

Usually it is way worth it,

when we remember the value of the whole relationship

and the source of love it provides in our life.

I pulled up this old CUT-Up by Sarah and it seems to fit.

We are all works of heART,

each with our own obtuse angles and blurry lines.

And yet,

when I really consider the whole package,

I think I'd choose YOU every time.

Those less-than-ideal moments are just 

the price of admission
to the
heART exhibit!
