December 10th,
and so loved!
Perhaps the best part of the day was much later that evening
when we had to make an unplanned trip to the doctor.
Upon returning home, with Mother's condition much improved,
I got to be the one to help her get ready for bed and
tuck her in on her special day, a sweet treat for both of us.
(Ask me about the text message from Sawyer as I was
leaving the apartment...another unexpected birthday treat for all of us!)
