On June 11th I posted this photo and wrote about a wonderful new author I had discovered, Ellen Newmark, and our email correspondence.
When I attempted to email her today, I received this notice:
Hello and thank you for writing to Elle Newmark. Sadly, Elle has passed away after a long illness. She left this life as she lived it: with energy, grace, wit and determination, surrounded by her close family and secure in the knowledge that she is well loved by many friends worldwide. She will be profoundly missed.
