The next morning, we took a frosty ride to the friendly

neighborhood Pancake House.

 Where Caleb proceeded to consume two huge pancakes,

five strips of bacon, and another glass of orange juice.

(He'd imbibed 2 at the movie the night before.)

 Then back to the condo for another game

of Scrabble...this time using only words from our

Christmas "Experience".

(His idea!)

And then...

Following the movie, we made a warm retreat

(I had conveniently left the car running.)

to 1001B for a sleepover.

 Caleb took this festive shot of me

These boys have so many wonderful things.

I've decided, at least for Caleb, a Christmas "Experience"

may be more memorable.

 So this year,

 when Caleb opened his gift from Emmy,

 he was overjoyed

(I did not force this pose!)

to find THIS for Christmas:

 Sing-Along "Newsies" at the Alamo Drafthouse,

with free newsboy hats,

 old-timey cartoons,

and yummy beverages and eats.
