This is Chef Cameron West with his mighty Bug-A-Salt!
Caleb and I sat at the open-kitchen-counter, where we
visited with the staff and watched the action.
That's the fresh bread basked daily, served with homemade
herb butter...and that's our cute waiter,
Lyle, looking rather guilty.
The kitchen was buzzing with the noon crowd arriving;
that's only four of the 8+ "man" crew.
When Caleb and I arrived for lunch,
Chef Cameron was preparing fresh calamari.
He served us a complimentary taste while
we waited for our entrees.
Then I got my yummy beet salad.
And finally...the (off-menu) pork sliders and mac&cheese
Chef Cameron cooked up especially for Caleb
and my delicious roasted corn soup.
Caleb, sliding in!
