Sawyer and I saw "Storks" on Saturday.
It was great--we highly recommend.
When we entered the lobby,
he saw the huge cardboard cut-out advertising "Trolls", and said,
"Oh, let's get a picture, Emmy, but after the movie."
Sure enough, when we were leaving the theatre lobby,
he remembered and eagerly popped himself behind the cut-out
and smiled real big.
and smiled real big.
(He had told me beforehand that he would be sure
to make his eyes sparkle like the babies' eyes in "Storks".)
to make his eyes sparkle like the babies' eyes in "Storks".)
I know the day will come, and sooner than later,
when he will not even see the cardboard cut-out in the lobby,
and he will definitely not want a silly picture of himself behind it.
and he will definitely not want a silly picture of himself behind it.
I cherish these moments when he still does...
and am ever the more grateful for the little guy who's waiting in line
for his turn at movie-time with Emmy.
(See you at the movies, Weston!)
Love this!
