In and Out

Sometimes it takes actually SEEING all your stuff paraded before your eyes,
sometimes even more than once or twice,
to realize how very little you need to survive and thrive,
and how ready and willing you are to let go of things
you loved and "needed" at one time in your life.

So, here's the story:
When I was furnishing 1001B, I was looking for a chest for the bedroom.
Rob and went to a little "antique" shop on 34th, TREASURE HUNT,
and we found this
for just $200 + delivery.
Rob thought it was a great buy, and we even talked about him
refinishing it at some point in the future.
But, in the meantime, it was perfect for my bedroom.

Flash forward to July 2015 and the big move from 1001B to 2606.
With my new garage now full to overflowing with the "stuff"
that had been stored for six months, it was more than
apparent that it was time to let go, again.
I remembered how kind the proprietors of TREASURE HUNT were
when I purchased the chest, so Susan and I decided to go by and see if
they might be interested in purchasing some of my "stuff".

Flash forward to July 8, 2015,
and here's Andy & Erisema loading up all the goodies
for their shop and for all those folks who will love these pieces
for the next season.
It is their desire to make the items in their shop affordable for folks
who might otherwise not be able to purchase nice things.
Aaaaah!

Andy & Erisema and Rob & I share stories of dealing with lifelong health issues,
of switching roles as needed, the journey of chronic illness and pain,
and the hope that comes with continuing to LIVE on through it all.
I've made two new friends,
and our "stuff" will continue to be loved and cherished
in ways and by people Rob and I could never have imagined.
I know he would bless the sharing!
